Absolute AV Design Gives Back
When we set out to create an AV company, we did so to provide a better experience for our employees and clients. While those remain of great importance, we realize that there is way more to life than AV/Automation. We often tell our clients that they don't "need" anything we sell, even though this stuff is a lot of fun and can contribute to an improved daily life. With that said, we want to do more than just provide a great workplace and a great client experience. We know we have an opportunity to do something bigger with our company. WE GIVE.
We have set out to make giving a priority, whether it be locally, nationally, or globally. So far we have partnered with organizations that serve a great need, as well as put as much of the contribution toward the cause, as possible. We want to be good stewards of our money and the contributions our clients make when they decide to hire us for their project. We are excited to be able to tell our clients that they get to contribute to clean water access in some of the poorest countries in the world when they hire us. We LOVE to tell them that they are supporting survivors of human trafficking, right here in San Diego.

Alabaster Jar Project is an organization that provides housing and resources for women who have survived human trafficking and sexual exploitation. When we found out that San Diego was in the top 13 cities in the United States with a human trafficking problem we knew we wanted to do something to help. What made Alabaster Jar Project stand out to us was their 92% success rate and their ability to help individuals for one-sixth of what it costs similar, government-run programs. Working with them, we were able to provide enough assistance to support a survivor of trafficking for an entire year.

Reaching the Hungry is an organization that connects with people in need from some of the poorest countries in the world to find out how groups can make the biggest impact. One thing that sets Reaching the Hungry apart is that close to 100% of the donations they receive goes towards their cause, meaning less money goes to administrative costs and more of the donation goes towards the cause. Working with them, we were able to sponsor a clean water well that provides safe drinking water for an entire village in Malawi, Africa.
